A marketing professional responsible for creating, managing, and executing social media strategies that drive organic (non-paid) engagement and growth across various platforms. Primary focus is on leveraging content, community building, and audience interaction to increase brand visibility, foster relationships, and boost engagement without relying on paid advertising.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation & Curation: Developing engaging posts, videos, graphics, and written content tailored to the brand’s voice and audience preferences.
  2. Community Management: Interacting with followers, responding to comments, and managing direct messages to build a loyal and active online community.
  3. Social Media Strategy: Planning and executing content calendars, aligning posts with broader marketing goals, and adapting strategies to meet business objectives.
  4. Analytics & Reporting: Monitoring the performance of posts and campaigns using social media analytics tools and making data-driven adjustments to improve engagement.
  5. Brand Storytelling: Crafting narratives that resonate with the target audience and promote brand awareness, values, and identity.
  6. Trends and Best Practices: Staying up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to keep the content fresh and engaging.
  7. Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, design, and other teams to ensure consistency across all channels and campaigns.

Requirements

Key Skills:

  • Strong writing and creative skills.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Ability to analyse data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Community building and audience engagement expertise.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
  • The role requires a mix of creativity, communication skills, and strategic thinking to drive organic growth and engagement across social media platforms.
